April showers bring May flowers, right? We hope so! It’s been a wet and chilly spring here

in Maine but we’re thinking of sunshine and gearing up for a spring and summer packed with events.
Kicking things off we’re headed to Prospect to help our pals at the Friends of Fort Knox with some spring cleaning at their annual Park Day on April 27. We had such a blast helping them out last year and it felt so good to get outside after such a long cold winter.
Want to join us?
Volunteers are welcome to help with raking, branch clean-up, and other projects around the fort any time between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday. Bring your rake, a pair of gloves, and maybe a rain coat and come say “hi!” We’ll be there all day and can’t wait to see everyone!
Curious what else we’ll be up to this summer? Keep an eye on the PRCC Community Calendar and our Facebook page for updates on where we’ll be next! If you have any suggestions for events, or a project you’d like help with, send us an e-mail.
